Employee Engagement and KPI Monitoring for 90 People

Role
Manager, Human Resources Employees and Relations
Organization
PT. Kunci Hukum
Period
January–August 2025
Team
HR Employees and Relations division

Story

PT. Kunci Hukum was growing quickly, and performance was still judged informally. Managers had no shared view of productivity, and feedback mostly travelled in one direction, from the top down.

Attendance, overtime and engagement activities were tracked in separate files, which made it hard to see patterns or to recognise strong contributors consistently.

I started as HR staff and became Manager of the HR Employees and Relations division. I was responsible for building a fairer way to measure performance and for keeping engagement programmes running for 90 employees.

Contribution steps

  1. 1

    KPI and 360° feedback

Worked with team leads to define KPIs per role and rolled out a 360° feedback process so evaluation also reflected peers and direct reports.

  2. 2

    Monthly appraisal

Ran a monthly appraisal cycle, backed by spreadsheet-based attendance and overtime records.

  3. 3

    Onboarding and offboarding

Handled onboarding for new staff and offboarding for those leaving the company.

  4. 4

    Peer counselling

Set up peer counselling so staff had a colleague to talk to about work concerns.

  5. 5

    Awarding

Ran staff recognition and awards, alongside team bonding activities, and documented each event for the HR report.
